Louis Jadot Beaujolais Villages Combe Aux Jacques

Home Information Map Review

This wine comes from Gamay grapes and so can be drunk slightly chilled, in order to protect the delicious aromas of fruits and the delicate freshness of the wine. This Beaujolais Villages can be drunk young but will age well for 2-3 years. Ideal as an aperitif or with salads and light meats.

A strong red purple colour with fresh red fruits on the nose and a hint of dark cherry. Slightly spicy with a touch of grey pepper, liquorice and rose flower. The whole wine is very well balanced with a nice acidity.

Fresh and juicy, gamay is a wonderful stepping stone between light and fruity reds and those with a bit more depth and colour. Great fruit and very refreshing. -Shawn
