The Syrah in the blend leads to the spicy, aromatic nose of the wine, this complements the soft tannins and generous mouthfeel of the Viognier component. A more peppery note is most likely due to the co-fermentation of some of the Syrah and Viognier. The Mourvedre adds structure and weight to the palate with good density. Ripe and upfront, the wine has ageing potential.
