Drappier
The history of the walls today inhabited by the Drappier Family, goes back to the 12th century when Saint Bernard had an annex to Clairvaux Abbey built in Urville. The vineyard which today surrounds these Cistercian cellars is the pride of the House. Cultivated in as natural a way as possible, the vineyard gives life to grapes rich in complex aromas which allow the making of Drappier Champagnes with well established characters housed in exceptional bottles. Since 1979, Michel Drappier has been controlling the winemaking process at La Maison Drappier.
